This is a rare piece from the region of Taznakht, Anti-Atlas, southern Morocco, where weaving has been an important part of the local culture for decades. This rug was woven in 1985 from extremely soft and fine sheep's wool according to the authentic weaving technique of Taznakht. Despite the super-soft, shiny wool, the fringes on both sides make it stable and therefore suitable for any living area.
