Handwoven old and original carpet from Beni Ourain in the Middle to High Atlas. The carpet was made of pure sheep wool from grazing sheep and highland sheep originally for private use about 40 years ago. Over time, the wool has become very soft and shiny. For the orange tones, natural plants were used to dye the wool. Beni Ourain rugs are used as sleeping mattresses and blankets, which explains the loose structure and length of the pile (about 7 cm).
